High above Emerald Bay near the top of Maggies Peaks at sunset with Lake Tahoe and the Desolation Wilderness in the distance. This sunset happened about 20 minutes after a violent lightning storm had me huddled in cracks of rocks. This is just one of those rare events where the entire sky for 360 degrees is consumed in color.
